Dear Manhattan Beach City Council and Staff:
In anticipation of the forthcoming microtransit shuttle pilot program with Circuit, Manhattan Village Shopping Center would like to formally express our interest in establishing a partnership with the City regarding this initiative. Manhattan Village has engaged in preliminary discussions with Circuit representatives, and it is our understanding that accommodations for parking and EV charging facilities for approximately five rideshare vehicles will be required during the pilot phase. Manhattan Village possesses sufficient infrastructure to meet Circuit's operational requirements throughout this program.
As part of our proposed partnership, Manhattan Village seeks to secure rights for physical advertising placement on the vehicles deployed in the rideshare program. While the specific terms of this arrangement remain under consideration, we are confident that a mutually beneficial agreement can be established that will serve the interests of all parties and facilitate a valuable program for both the City and the community.
