MMC 2.24.010 Created—Number of members.
There is created a planning commission of the city. The planning commission shall consist of five members and one alternate member. The alternate member shall attend all meetings of the commission and is authorized to serve and vote in place of any regular member of the commission who is absent. The planning commission shall also consist of two ex officio members: the city attorney or the assistant city attorney and the city engineer. In addition, at the request of the Director of Development Services (made at least one day before a meeting), the City Engineer or his/her designee shall also attend the regular or special meeting of the planning commission.
