CALL TO ORDER: 6:00 p.m.

AGENDA REVIEW AND SUPPLEMENTAL REPORTS:
Acting City Clerk Olivia Nashed announced COVID-19 guidelines for the meeting.

B. CLOSED SESSION:
Mayor adjourned to closed session at 6:01 p.m.
B.1. 22‑023 PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957: Titles: City Attorney.
B.2. 22‑049 Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Gov. Code § 54956.9(d)(2) ‑ One matter. Significant exposure to litigation in the opinion of the City Council on the advice of legal counsel, based on facts and circumstances that might result in litigation against the City, but which the City believes are not yet known to a potential plaintiff or plaintiffs, which facts and circumstances need not be disclosed (§ 54956.9(e)(1)).
C. REPORT ON ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION: Upon returning to open session at 7:16 p.m., Deputy City Attorney Carrie Woolley reported the following action take for item B.1: consistent with the Executive Management MOU that was noted when Council approved the City Attorney’s agreement on January 19, 2021, the salary of the City of Attorney shall be adjusted to the next step of the salary scale. Thus, the base salary of the City Attorney shall increase from $219,456 to $230,424. All other benefits shall remain the same; City Attorney L. David Nefouse noted no reportable action was taken in closed session for Item B.2.
D. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Cantu adjourned meeting at 7:18 p.m.
