AGENDA REVIEW AND SUPPLEMENTAL REPORTS:
Acting City Clerk Olivia Nashed announced COVID-19 guidelines for the meeting.
A. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
B. CLOSED SESSION:
Mayor adjourned to closed session at 12:03 p.m.
B.1. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RESIGNATION/RELEASE PURSUANT
GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957 ‑ Title: City Manager.
B.2. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT: City Manager.
C. REPORT ON ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION: Upon returning to open session at 12:31 p.m., City Attorney L. David Nefouse announced, for item B.1, the City Council unanimously accepted the resignation of Toby Wells. In exchange for a mutual release, the City is granting Mr. Wells five (5) months’ severance. Mr. Wells’ last day with the City shall be March 1, 2022. The City wishes Mr. Wells all the best on his future endeavors. The City will be issuing a mutually agreed upon press release later today. For Item B.2, City Attorney Nefouse announced that at this time, the City Council is appointing Toni Lundgren as the Acting City Manager, until further notice.

F. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Cantu adjourned the meeting at 12:33 p.m.
