Project: Central Valley Integrated Pest Management Website Enhancements and On- Demand Training Module - Letter of Support
Dear Alliance Grant Team,
I am pleased to write this letter of support for the project titled "Central Valley Integrated Pest Management Website Enhancements and On-Demand Training Module" submitted on behalf of a group of Phase I and Phase Il municipalities within the Central Valley who have teamed up to collaborate on various aspects of the stormwater program so that the requirements can be implemented in a cost-effective manner. To date, the group has collaborated on and shared resources for numerous activities such as public outreach events and materials, training modules, a website, and the development and implementation of a Pyrethroids Control Program.

The proposed project is for a) development of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) webpage content and graphics that can be used by the agencies within their own agency websites or within a regional website, and b) an on-demand IPM training module for municipal staff who apply pesticides or contractors who may be hired by the agencies for pesticide application. If funded, this project would benefit multiple stormwater agencies throughout Central Valley with the dissemination of information on IPM using a collaborative platform to promote IPM systems and practices and serve as a model that other stormwater agencies could leverage.

Sincerely,
Toni Lundgren
