RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE PATRICK LEAHY BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP Grant Program AND APPROVING APPROPRIATION FOR SAME WHEREAS, the City of Manteca applied for and received a grant in the amount of $10,488.00 from the Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP); and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby accept a $10,488.00 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP).
Appropriate $5,244.00 to the Intergovernmental Grants-Federal Bulletproof Vest Revenue Account (150.00.00.900-4450.09).
Appropriate $5,244.00 to the Police Bulletproof Vest Grant Expense Account (150.11.00.200-6210.07).
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of April, 2022, by the following vote:
