RESOLUTION R2022-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AWARDING THE CONTRACT, APPROVING THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT WITH SUN RIDGE SYSTEMS, INC. FOR A NEW COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH, RECORDS MANAGEMENT, AND MOBILE (CAD/RMS) SYSTEM WHEREAS, on March 15, 2022, the City Council of the City of Manteca, at its regularly scheduled meeting approved the release of a request for proposal for a new CAD/RMS system for Manteca PD; and WHEREAS, on March 16, 2022, the RFP was issued; and
WHEREAS, on March 29, 2022, the City received two proposals in response to its RFP; and WHEREAS, following an evaluation process, the City’s evaluation committee selected the proposal by Sun Ridge Systems, Inc. as the proposal that was most responsive to the City’s needs; and WHEREAS, following contract negotiations, a proposed agreement in the amount of $1,339,164.00, was reached with Sun Ridge to implement a new CAD/RMS system for Manteca PD; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The agreement between the City and Sun Ridge Systems, Inc. is hereby approved. The Interim City Manager is authorized to sign on behalf of the City.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 3rd day of May, 2022, by the following vote:
