RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT C2021-122 WITH COMFORT AIR WHEREAS, the City of Manteca is amending Contract C2021-122 with Comfort Air for maintenance and repairs to the City of Manteca’s HVAC systems; and WHEREAS, staff recommends, the current contract which expires on June 30, 2022, which provides On-call HVAC maintenance services on an as needed basis be extended until June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, staff recommends adding $50,000.00 to the existing $35,000.00 f maintenance. Additionally staff recommends including $80,000.00 for repairs to the Senior Center HVAC, utilizing CIP 22067 for a total contract amount of $165,000.00; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that council approve authorization for the City Manager to sign this any additional amendments to contract C2021-122 according to and in compliance with the City of Manteca purchasing policy; and WHEREAS, funds are budgeted for these services in the accounts 100.40.55.500-6000.01 and 100.40.55.500-6000.12. The additional repairs to the Senior Center are included in CIP 22067, account 100.20.20.310-8000.12 which was passed at the mid-year budget on March 1, 2022; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to sign this and any additional amendments to Contract C2021-122 according to and in compliance with the City of Manteca purchasing policy.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 21st day of June, 2022, by the following vote:
