RESOLUTION R2022-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GRANT DEED WHICH WILL GRANT 1,770 SQUARE FEET OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE GRIFFIN PARK DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC, TO CORRECT THE WIDTH OF LOT “LB” ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF LION DRIVE AS DEDICATED ON THE GRIFFIN PARK UNIT NO. 3 FINAL MAP WHEREAS, the Griffin Park Unit No. 3 Final Map created Lot “LB” as a sixteen foot (16’) wide lot along the north side of Lion Drive and dedicated this lot to the City of Manteca for landscape purposes; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the approved Tentative Map and the Improvement Plans, Lot “LB” should be seven feet (7’) wide; and WHEREAS, since the lot was dedicated to, and has been accepted by the City, the developer, Griffin Park Development Company, LLC, is requesting that City Council grant the northern nine feet (9’) of Lot “LB” back to the developer; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca, a Municipal Corporation, does hereby approve the Grant Deed which will grant 1,770 square feet of real property to the Griffin Park Development Company, LLC, to correct the width of Lot “LB,” from sixteen feet (16’) to the approved seven foot (7’) width, along the north side of Lion Drive as dedicated on the Griffin Park Unit No. 3 Final Map.
The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to take all appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of July 2022, by the following vote:
