RESOLUTION R2022-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, authorizing an AGREEMENT WITH URBAN FUTURES, INC. FOR MUNICIPAL FINANCIAL ADVISORY services WHEREAS, the City uses consultant municipal financial advisory services when it needs to issue debt to finance the purchase of projects or equipment capital in nature; and WHEREAS, the City wants to be prepared to start the process of issuing debt when it is most economically feasible; and WHEREAS, on April 6, 2022, a request for proposals was posted on the City’s website; and WHEREAS, nine proposals were received by the due date of May 5, 2022; and, WHEREAS, Urban Futures, Inc. was deemed to be the highest quality response; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby approve an agreement with Urban Futures, Inc. for municipal financial advisory services.
The City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute the Amendment.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of July, 2022, by the following vote:
