June 21, 2022
CALL TO ORDER: 5:45 p.m.
Roll Call:
Present: Breitenbucher, Singh, Halford, Cantu
Councilmember Nuño absent at roll call
AGENDA REVIEW AND SUPPLEMENTAL REPORTS:
City Clerk Cassandra Candini-Tilton announced COVID-19 guidelines for the meeting.
A. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
B. CLOSED SESSION: Mayor adjourned to closed session at 5:46 p.m.
Councilmember Nuño joined the meeting at 5:59 p.m.
B.1. 22-316 Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation - Government Code sec. 54956.9(d)(4) - One (1) case. Based on existing facts and circumstances, the City Council is deciding whether to initiate litigation.
B.2. 22-354 CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS (Government Code Section 54957.6): City designated representatives: Toni Lundgren, Interim City Manager, and Dawn Cortesi, Acting Director of Human Resources. Employee Organizations: Manteca Police Officers’ Association, Manteca Police Employee’s Association, Manteca Firefighters IAFF Local 1874, Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (OE3), Manteca Technical and Support Services Association, Manteca Mid-Manager Association, Manteca Confidential Mid-Managers Association, and Manteca Public Safety Management Association.
C. REPORT ON ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION: upon returning to open session at 6:57 p.m. City Attorney David Nefouse reported no reportable action.
D. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Cantu adjourned meeting at 6:58 p.m. ___________________________
