RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT SALARY MATRIX AND SUMMARY OF SALARY AND BENEFITS (SSB) BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANTECA AND EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2022 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2023 WHEREAS, the City of Manteca has a Summary of Salary and Benefits with Executive Management; and WHEREAS, the Summary of Salary and Benefits expired June 30, 2022; and WHEREAS, the City of Manteca and the Executive Management negotiated in good faith and agreed to a new contract; and WHEREAS, the term of the new contract is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, a one percent (1%) salary increase will be implemented for all members; and WHEREAS, a one-time ARPA payment of $3,000 will be paid to all members hired prior to June 30, 2022; and WHEREAS, there is an increase to the City contribution toward health benefits for all members; and WHEREAS, an increase to the total number of floating holidays; and WHEREAS, there is a vacation accrual increase and option to cash out up to 80 hours of vacation leave annually; and WHERAS; an option to cash out up to 50% of accrual sick leave at retirement has been agreed upon; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. Approve a budget appropriation in the amount of $66,900 to fund the agreed upon contract with the Executive Management to be distributed as follows:
Fund 100 General Fund $20,000
All Other Funds $46,900
3. Approval of the Executive Managers Summary of Salary and Benefits effective July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023.
4. Approval of the Executive Managers Salary Matrix effective July 1, 2022- June 30, 2023.
5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a special public meeting of said City Council held on the 3rd day of August, 2022, by the following vote:
