RESOLUTION R2022-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, State of California, Accepting the Mayors Park Subdivision Pavement PROJECT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (CIP NO. 18038) WHEREAS, on August 18, 2020, City Council authorized a Call for Bids and approved the Plans, Specifications and Estimate for the Mayors Park Subdivision Pavement Project, (CIP NO. 18038); and WHEREAS, on January 19, 2021, City Council determined George Reed Inc. to be lowest responsible bidder for an amount of $1,860,860; and WHEREAS, City Council has determined the project to have been completed in general conformance with the contract plans and specifications for a final cost of $2,122,740.09; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby accept the Notice of Completion for the Mayors Park Subdivision Pavement Project, (CIP NO. 18038) and hereby instructs the City Clerk for the City of Manteca, to attend to the proper recordation of same.
The Council further approves any remaining budget appropriations to be disencumbered for the project once all outstanding invoices have been paid.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of October, 2022 by the following vote:
