RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT AND PARTNERSHIP WITH BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY AND APPROVING BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS WHEREAS, the City of Manteca will enter into a partnership with Friends Animal Society and receive a Grant of $40,000 in three installments; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby accept a $40,000 grant from the Best Friends Animal Society.
Appropriates $40,000 to revenue in the Animal Control Division of the General Fund, Account No. 100.11.10.270-4850.05.
Appropriates $40,000 to the special supplies account in the Animal Control Division of the General Fund (Account No. 100.11.10.270-6200.02).
5. This Resolution shall take effect on the effective date immediately.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of October, 2022, by the following vote:
