RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH ETA TRANSIT SYSTEMS IN THE AMOUNT OF $191,997 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN ALL NECESSARY DOCUMNETS WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) was released on August 18, 2022 soliciting competitive proposals from qualified firms; and WHEREAS, two proposals were received by the proposal due date of September 19, 2022; and WHEREAS, ETA Transit Systems Inc. were deemed to be the highest quality responses; and WHEREAS, staff recommends the award of contract to ETA Transit Systems, Inc. to provide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) services for the Manteca Transit System; and WHEREAS, the City currently has available funding from Caltrans Public Transportation Modernization, Improvement, and Service Enhancement (PTMISEA), Caltrans LCTOP for a total amount of $246,000; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves an agreement with ETA Transit Systems in the amount of $191,997 to provide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) services to Manteca Transit Buses, and authorizes the City Manager to sign all necessary documents.
3. This Resolution shall take effect on the effective date immediately.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of October, 2022, by the following vote:
