COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2022-1
(MANTECA PUBLIC SAFETY, MAINTENANCE & SERVICES)
ORDER OF PROCEEDINGS FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND SUBSEQUENT ACTIONS
1. Conduct the CFD Public Hearing
2. Following the CFD Public Hearing and if there was not a majority protest (more than 50% of the landowners within the CFD objecting the special tax) City Council considers and adopts:
• A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Manteca, State of California, Establishing the Formation of a Community Facilities District and Future Annexation Area; and • A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Manteca, State of California, Calling a Special Election for a Community Facilities District.
3. City Clerk will then announce the results of the special tax election and completes the Canvass (attached to the Resolution Declaring Results of the Election).
4. City Council then considers and adopts:
• A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Manteca, State of California, Declaring Results of a Special Landowner Election and Directing the Recording of a Special Tax Lien Then has the first reading of the Ordinance
• An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Manteca, State of California, Authorizing the Levy of Special Taxes in a Community Facilities District

5. Within 15 days of the special tax election the City Clerk records the Notice of Special Tax Lien with San Joaquin County.
