RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,902 FROM SUPPLEMENTAL LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES FUND RESERVES (FUND 160) TO 160.11.00.200-6200.02 ($8,302) AND 160.11.00.200-6350.01 ($52,600) FOR THE PURCHASE OF TECHNOLOGY-BASED EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE FOR TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT, COLLISION REPORTING AND ONLINE REPORT INTERFACING, AND AMEND THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN TO INCLUDE THE MOBILE PRINTER PURCHASES AS A PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Manteca receives funds through state supplemental law enforcement services funds; and WHEREAS, the City is allowed to use these funds to further enhance law enforcements ability to investigate, arrest and convict those individuals or groups involved in criminal activity; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
Approve a budget appropriation from Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund Reserves (Fund 160) in the amount of $8,302 to Supplies Special Department (Account No. 160.11.00.200-6200.02) Approve a budget appropriation from Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund Reserves (Fund 160) in the amount of $52,600 to Maintenance Agreements & License Software Maintenance (Account No. 160.11.00.200-6350.01) Amend the Capital Improvement Plan to include the purchases of the mobile printers as a Project.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
