RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2022-23 MID-YEAR BUDGET UPDATE WHEREAS, the City of Manteca adopted by Resolution number 2022-120 approving the FY 2022-23 Adopted Budget; and WHERAS, the Budget Mid-Year Update will amend the FY 2022-23 Adopted Budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. Authorizes appropriation adjustments to revenue of $(120,000), personnel expenditures of $(1,033,266), and operating expenditures of $1,340,100.
3. Amend the Capital Improvement Plan and authorize capital expenditure appropriation adjustments of $1,659,699.
4. Authorizes the transfer of $660,000 from the General Fund to the Water Fund ($330,000) and the Sewer Fund ($330,000).
5. The FY 2022-23 Budget Mid-Year Update appropriations will expire on June 30, 2023, except Capital Improvement Projects that will roll to subsequent years.
6. Adopt the additional CIP changes with six (6) new projects and four (4) additional projects not included in the CIP.
7. Adopt the Position changes of one (1) new position, three (3) reclasses to existing positions, one (1) part-time adjustment, and unauthorizing three (3) positions.
8. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 24th day of January, 2023, by the following vote:
