Re: City Landscape Related Ordinance Updates – M3548
Project Description
Per a discussion with staff about the current status of landscape ordinances and the direction received from government officials, the current City’s ordinances need to be reviewed for conformance to currently levels of service, City standards and government codes.
Scope of Work
Task 1. Landscape and Tree Related Ordinance Revisions
Develop written ordinance revisions:
a. Review of all current landscape related ordinances
b. Mark-up draft of recommended changes based on current state code updates and/or potential deficiencies within the current standards/specifications. c. Develop standards for developer-built model home and typical landscape standards d. Develop standards for non-residential landscape standards Task 2: Hourly rates – Estimated $19,620
Task 2. Meetings with City Staff
Attend meetings to review of plans and recommendations on replacements, improvements, removal and/or additions. This phase includes:
a. Two review meetings with staff
b. Two public meetings (Planning Commission and City Council) Task 3: Hourly rates – Estimated $4,000
Total Estimated Cost Task 1-2: $ 23,620
Client to Provide:
• Editable format version of City Ordinance document
Limitations:
• Does not include development/updates/adjustments to existing city standard details • Includes one round of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed hourly based upon the attached fee schedule.
Note:
• Landscape architects are licensed by the State of California.
