RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH E-PLANSOFT FOR ELECTRONIC PLAN REVIEW SOFTWARE; APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION FROM DEVELOPMENT SERVICES UNDESIGNATED RESERVES TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES-CONTRACT SERVICES (ACCOUNT NO. 340.30.45.000-6000.12) IN THE AMOUNT OF $67,400 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $272,400; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY STEPS TO EFFECTUATE THE AMENDMENT WHEREAS, the City currently uses an electronic plan check software, e-Plan Soft, to help expedite plan review processes through City staff in a timely manner; and WHEREAS, in 2020 the City Council approved an agreement with e-PlanSoft through June 30, 2023 and an extension is necessary to continue to provide electronic plan review to permit applicants; and WHEREAS, the total contract amount has nearly been expended and a contract amendment is necessary to extend the contract until June 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does herby approve a budget appropriation of $67,400 from Development Services Undesignated Reserves to the Professional Services-Contract Services (No. 340.30.45.000-6000.12) for electronic plan review software services.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby approve Amendment No. 1, to Agreement C2020-20 with e-PlanSoft, increasing the total contract amount by $67,400 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $272,400 for electronic plan review software services.
The City Council authorizes the City Manager to sign and take all necessary steps to effectuate the contract amendment.
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 4th day of April 2023, by the following vote:
