RESOLUTION R2023-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, amending the capital improvement plan to include the purchase of a storage shed and assign it a project number; and aPPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,000 FROM the SUPPLEMENTAL LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES FUND undesignated reserves TO capital outlay equipment new (ACCOUNT NO. 160.11.00.200-7000.03) WHEREAS, the City of Manteca receives funds through the Supplemental Law Enforcement Special Funds (SLESF); and WHEREAS, SLESF funds are grant funds and the enabling legislation mandates each municipality will receive funds yearly to be spent on “front-line law enforcement services”; and WHEREAS, the Police Department needs to relocate the storage location of the patrol bikes used by the Bike Unit; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
Amend the Capital Improvement Plan to include the purchase of the storage shed and assign it a project number.
Approve a budget appropriation from Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund Undesignated Reserves in the amount of $12,000 to the Capital Outlay Equipment New (Account No. 160.11.00.200-7000.03).
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of April, 2023, by the following vote:
