Situation
The Manteca Police and Fire Departments will deploy City resources for public safety for a 5-day period from Friday, June 30th, 2023, to Tuesday, July 4th, 2023. The stated goals in this operational plan will assist in maximizing both departments’ ability to effectively handle calls for service, emergency 9-1-1 responses, and special operations during the holiday weekend.
We understand this holiday weekend creates additional
calls for service and plan to staff accordingly. In addition, we will provide high police visibility and a proactive
approach to illegal actions and the anticipated increase in calls for service for disorderly conduct.
