RESOLUTION R2023-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH TRINE INTEGRATED SERVICES INC. FOR SECURITY GUARD SERVICES FOR A 3 YEAR BASE TERM FROM JULY 1, 2023 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026 WHEREAS, the City’s existing Agreement for security guard services expires on June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Security guard services was released on March 16th 2023 soliciting competitive proposals; and WHEREAS, after a competitive process, Trine Integrated Services Inc. is found to be the most responsive bidder; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends Council award the RFP and enter into an agreement with Trine Integrated Services Inc.; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
Award the RFP for Transit Security to Trine Integrated Services.
2. Authorize City Manager to execute the Agreement at a total cost of $465,000 for three (3) year base term from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026, and authorize City Manager to execute two (2) optional one (1) year extensions.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
