Stantec is submitting this proposal for Change Order No. 1 for the Manteca Wastewater Quality Control Facility (WQCF) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manual.
Background
In August 2021, Stantec teamed with the City of Manteca to update the WQCF O&M Manual to capture updates to the treatment processes that have occurred on site since the manual was last revised in 2008. After preparing draft chapters for the secondary treatment process and RAS/WAS Pump Stations, the City has made additional improvements to the plant that should be incorporated into the O&M Manual (including adding a glycerin dosing system and upgrading the RAS/WAS pump stations- RAS/WAS pump station improvements are anticipated to be constructed and operational in 2024).
Below is a task breakdown of work needed to modify the two new processes. Additionally, the amendment will extend the contract end date to August 31, 2023.
Task 3 – Update O&M Chapters
This task includes updating Chapter 8, 9, and 21 to include the RAS/WAS pump station and glycerin project improvements into the manual. This includes revisions to the figures for the RAS/WAS PS and new figures for the chemical handling facility.
Our estimated time to complete the workplan is by August 2023.
PROJECT BUDGET AND TASK SUMMARY REPORT
The following table provides an estimate of budget needed to complete the permitting services for Change Order 1 tasks, identified above:
