RESOLUTION R2023-XXX
adopt A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, State of California, authorIZE budget amendments, appropriations, and A Call For Bids for the 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance PROJECT WHEREAS, Plans, Specifications, and Estimate are complete and are available for review in the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance Project location consists of the Del Webb community; and WHEREAS, Project includes the placement of micro-surfacing on streets, and pavement striping; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
Amend the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program to add the 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance Project for a total project budget of $2,000,000.
The City Council hereby approves the Plans and Specifications for the 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance Project and assigns a new Capital Improvement Project number 23036.
Appropriate $2,000,000 from Gas Tax reserves to Account No. 420.00.00.900-8150.02 Gas Tax Pavement Replacement/Improvement, to fund the project.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby accept the Invitation to Bid for the 2023 Annual Pavement Maintenance Project, authorizes a call for bids, and authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to complete and execute all associated documents, and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 14th day of June, 2023, by the following vote:
