A. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
B. CLOSED SESSION: Mayor Singh adjourned to closed session at 9:01 a.m.
B.1. 23-246 PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT (Pursuant to Government Code section 54957(b)): Title - City Manager
C. REPORT ON ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION: City Attorney Upon returning to open session at 3:08 p.m., City Attorney David Nefouse reported the following action:
the firm Peckham & McKenney held a nationwide search for the position of City Manager and the City received 34 applications. City Council held interviews for the top three applicants and following the interviews, City Council voted (5-0) to extend an offer to Interim City Manager Toni Lundgren for the position of City Manager. A contract will be brought for approval at the Regular City Council meeting of June 20, 2023.
D. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Singh adjourned the meeting at 3:09 p.m. ___________________________
