RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE $130,700.00 CONTRACT WITH LARRY WALKER ASSOCIATES AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, The City of Manteca uses consultant Larry Walker Associates to provide specialized support in adhering to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements; and WHEREAS, This contract assists with the general Stormwater permit program management, pollution prevention and housekeeping in the operations program, as well as Pyrethroid Management Plan and Trash Amendments; and WHEREAS, It includes the scope of services to assist Wastewater in completing the annual Nutrient Management Plan and the Land Application Area Annual Report including on-call regulatory assistance as needed to adhere to the NPDES requirements including completing the Local Limits Study for the industrial pretreatment program; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves a one (1) year agreement with Larry Walker Associates in the amount of $130,700 for the general Stormwater permit program management, pollution prevention and housekeeping in the operations program, as well as Pyrethroid Management Plan and Trash Amendments.
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or designee to sign the agreement and associated documents.
4. This Resolution shall take effect on the effective date immediately.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of July, 2023, by the following vote:
