RESOLUTION R2023-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA approving the Initial Study Mitigated Negative Declaration for Well 29 TCP Treatment design (CIP 22058) project and file a Notice of Determination with the San Joaquin County Clerk’s Office; approving the Plans and Specifications; authorizing a Call for Bids; authorizing the City Manager or designee to apply for permits, pay for associated fees, apply for State and Federal grants, solicit project funding support, AND complete and execute all associated documents WHEREAS, the project involves installing a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) treatment system to treat water produced by Well 29 located at Yosemite Village Park to remove 1,2,3-trichloropropane as required to comply with the California State Water Resource Control Board Compliance Order No. 01-10-21R-002; and WHEREAS, the Order requires compliance with California Code Regulations, Title 22, Section 64444 on or before April 10, 2024; and WHEREAS, the Final Initial Studies / Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) will need to be adopted by the City, as the Lead Agency for the proposed Project; and WHEREAS, the Final IS/MND as well as the plans and specifications have been completed and are available for review in the Engineering Department; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the Initial Study Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Well 29 TCP Treatment Design (CIP 22058) project and file a Notice of Determination with the San Joaquin County Clerk’s.
The City Council hereby approves the Plans and Specifications and Estimate for the Well 29 TCP Treatment Design (CIP 22058) project.
The City Council hereby authorizes a Call for Bids for the Well 29 TCP Treatment Design (CIP 22058) project.
The City Council hereby authorizing the City Manager or designee to apply for permits, pay for associated fees, apply for State and Federal grants, solicit project funding support, complete and execute all associated documents, and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of September 2023, by the following vote:
