RESOLUTION R2023-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, approving A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT with DeNovo Planning Group FOR $107,680 for A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND ZONInG CODE AMENDMENT AND REZONE (CIP 16023-General plan update and zoning code conformity) WHEREAS, on July 18, 2023 the City Council certified the General Plan Update Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and approved the General Plan Update document; and WHEREAS, on July 19, 2023, the City received a request for approval of summary of referendum of the General plan Amendment, filed by Delicato Family Wines; and WHEREAS, the City and Delicato have reached an agreement on changes to the General Plan Update land use map and policy document; and WHEREAS, the City requests to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with DeNovo Planning Group to make the necessary changes to the land use map and policy document, as well as to process a Zoning Code Amendment and Rezone; and WHEREAS, DeNovo Planning Group has developed a scope of work and budget for the scope of work described in the Professional Services Agreement attached as Exhibit “A” in an amount of $107,680; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided by staff during the meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. The City Council hereby affirms the scope and budget of the proposed scope of work by DeNovo Planning Group and its subcontractors dated December 1, 2023.
3. The City Council hereby approves a Professional Services Agreement with DeNovo Planning Group in an amount not to exceed $107,680.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of December, 2023 by the following vote:
