RESOLUTION R2023-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GRANT DEEDS FOR PROPERTIES ACQUIRED BY CALTRANS AS PART OF THE STATE ROUTE 99/120 PHASE 1A INTERCHANGE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO TAKE ALL APPROPRIATE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSE AND INTENT OF THE RESOLUTION WHEREAS, in 2015, the City of Manteca (City) collaborated with the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) and Caltrans District 10 (Caltrans) to complete the project study report for the State Route 99/120 interchange project (Project); and WHEREAS, the project will add new auxiliary lanes, upgrade existing bridges, construct additional connector lanes, ramp upgrades, new signals, lighting, and will provide traffic congestion relief and improve operations of the interchange; and WHEREAS, as part of the Project, Caltrans will acquire the Right-Of-Way (ROW) needed to build and/or widen the roadways; and WHEREAS, the portions of ROW that falls within the City’s jurisdiction will be transferred to City; and WHEREAS, City is required to pass a resolution for the Certificate of Acceptance for the following properties:

APN: 224-050-16
APN: 228-060-24 Partial
; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby accepts the Grant Deeds associated with APN 228-060-27 Partial, APN 224-050-16, and APN 228-060-24 Partial acquired by Caltrans as part of the State Route 99/120 Phase 1A Interchange Project.
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or designee to execute the Certificates of Acceptance, execute all associated documents, and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of December, 2023, by the following vote:
