RESOLUTION NO. R2024-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING, FILING AND MAKING THE FINDINGS IDENTIFIED IN THE CITY’S AB 1600 REPORT ON DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2023 WHEREAS, the Mitigation Fee Act, Government Code §§ 66000, et seq. requires cities to publish an annual report for each fund established to account for development impact fees collected by each city; and WHEREAS, the report must include the beginning and ending balances by public facility type for the fiscal year, and the amount of fees, interest, other income and expenditures for each fund; and WHEREAS, in connection with the report, cities must make certain findings describing how certain unexpended fees will be used in connection with the purpose for which they were originally proposed and collected; and WHEREAS, the City has prepared and provided to the City Council a report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023 containing the required information; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby accepts, files, and makes the findings identified in, the AB 1600 Report on Development Impact Fees for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2023, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 16th day of January, 2024, by the following vote:
