RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT WHICH WILL GRANT A 0.22-ACRE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT FROM 1654 NORTH MAIN, LLC ALONG THE N. MAIN STREET FRONTAGE OF 1654 N. MAIN STREET WHEREAS, the site plan and lot line adjustment for the Arco’s Self-Storage Expansion project was conditionally approved by City Council on December 1, 2020; and WHEREAS, a condition of the project was that the owner must dedicate a ten-foot (10’) Public Utility Easement across the N. Main Street frontage of the existing self-storage parcel, 1654 N. Main Street, and the parcel which the self-storage will be expanding, 1606 N. Main Street; and WHEREAS, the owner is offering for dedication the Public Utility Easement; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca, a Municipal Corporation, does hereby accept a Grant of Easement for a 0.22-acre public utility easement from 1654 North Main, LLC along the N. Main Street frontage of 1654 N. Main Street.
The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to take all appropriate and necessary actions to carry out the purpose and intent of this resolution.
The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this resolution with the San Joaquin County Recorder’s Office.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 20th day of February, 2024, by the following vote:
