RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND BUDGET TRANSFER, INCREASING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024 CAPITAL BUDGET FOR TRIMAX MOWER CIP NO. 24032 BY $4,200 FOR A NEW PROJECT TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED $60,000 FOR THE PARKS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, Capital Improvement Project No. 24032 was originally created to purchase a large are turf mower; and WHEREAS, due to unforeseen processing delays, the 2023 model that was intended to be purchased is no longer available, necessitating the purchase of a 2024 model at a higher cost; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. City Council approves the following budget amendments and appropriations Amend the Capital Improvement Program to increase the FY 23/24 Trimax Mower CIP No. 24032 by $4,200 for a new project total of $60,000.
Appropriate $4,200 from the Park Repairs and Maintenance Account No. 100.40.55.966-6400.02 to the FY Trimax Mower CIP No. 24032, Account No. 100.40.55.966-7000.03
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 2nd day of April, 2024, by the following vote:
