RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2023-24 BUDGET AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Manteca adopted by Resolution number 2023-85 approving the FY 2023-24 Adopted Budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Manteca adopted by Resolution number 2023-36 approving the FY 2023-24 Mid-Year Budget Update; and WHEREAS, the City of Manteca staff desires to inform and update the City Council and public of identified cost savings in the current fiscal year and use these savings for identified one-time capital outlay needs; and WHEREAS, this Budget Amendment proposes to amend the FY 2023-24 Adopted Budget and Capital Improvement Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. Authorizes appropriation amendments to operating and capital improvement plan expenditures as presented in Exhibit “A” attached hereto.
3. Amend the Capital Improvement Plan to include new projects and assign project numbers where “Project No.” shows as “NEW”, as presented in Exhibit “A” attached hereto.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 16th day of April, 2024, by the following vote:
