The Committee was also provided updates to Fiscal Year 2023-24, along with a 5-year forecast of the fund.

The original adopted expenditure plan stated over the length of the measure, the City? s intent should be to equally divide all proceeds of the tax levied and imposed between Police and Fire services.

However, public safety needs may demand varying personnel allocations between Police and Fire.

• 3 Fire Captains
• 3 Fire Battalion Chiefs
The committee met in the fall to review the audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2023 and to receive a current semi-annual financial update. Next committee meeting is schedule for the Fall of 2024.

On behalf of the other Committee members, we wish to express our continued appreciation to the City Council for giving us this opportunity to serve.
