This agreement, dated June 25, 2014, is entered among the Cities, Counties, and Agencies of City of Ceres, City of Escalon, City of Hughson, City of Lathrop, City of Livingston, City of Lodi, City of Manteca, City of Merced, City of Newman, City of Oakdale, City of Patterson, City of Ripon, City of Riverbank, City of Stockton, City of Tracy, City of Turlock, Port of Stockton, Merced County, San Joaquin Count,, Stanislaus County, Mt. House Community Service District, and Tracy Unified School District.
collectively known as the San Joaquin Valley Storrnwater Quality Partnership or SJVSWQP) for the purposes of coordinating cooperative public outreach and education activities through regional, collaboration between National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System ( NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System ( MS4) permittees, in order to fulfill compliance objectives with specific MS4 NPDES permit requirements.
This agreement does not prevent any signatory from pursuing other projects individually, nor does it require the participation in any or all activities pursued by the collective group. Further, any agency may withdraw their participation at any time by submitting a letter stating their intent to cease participation.
Each of the parties represent to the others that the person or persons who have executed this document on their behalf have been authorized to do so in accordance with governing law, and that this Agreement is a binding legal obligation on each of the parties upon its execution by them.
