Community Benefit District
• Downtown Manteca Community Benefit District would
provide funding for:
• Civil Sidewalks
• Cleaning, Beautification, Trash Disposal, Graffiti Removal • District Identity & Placemaking
• Website, Events, Branding, Banners
• Administration & Management
• Proposed Annual Assessment Budget: $184,781
• City-owned property assessment: $40,959
• Proposed District Duration:
• 5 years (January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029)

Next Steps
• Today’s Public Hearing
• Tabulate the ballots and hear public testimony
regarding the proposed assessment.
• If a majority protest does not exist, the Council may adopt a Resolution of Formation to establish the
Downtown Manteca Community Benefit District.
• If approved, this would be Manteca’s first PBID

into Phase III, the formation of the nonprofit that
