RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE MISSION SQUARE RETIREMENT 457 GOVERNMENTAL DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN AND TRUST DOCUMENT WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources is an authorized Plan Coordinator for the City’s Mission Square 457 retirement plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the Plan Coordinator to sign and execute documents related to the Mission Square 457 retirement plan amendments including but not limited to ensuring that Council Members and Elected Officials are listed as eligible participants, and other provision updates to bring the plan current with regulations, standards and City practices for enrollment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby approves the Mission Square 457 retirement plan amendments.
The City Council hereby authorizes the Plan Coordinator to carry out the intention of the plan amendments and/or execute any other relevant documents.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 20th day of August, 2024, by the following vote:
