RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MANTECA GOLF COURSE REPLACE FENCING ALONG CROM STREET PROJECT CIP NO. 24037, APPROVING THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT NOTICE OF EXEMPTION DETERMINATION, AUTHORIZING A CALL FOR BIDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO TAKE ALL APPROPRIATE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSE AND INTENT OF THE RESOLUTION (EXEMPT FROM CEQA PURSUANT TO 14 CAL. CODE REG. § 15301(D) WHEREAS, Plans, Specifications and Estimates for the Manteca Golf Course Project Replace Fencing along Crom Street (CIP No. 24037) are complete and available for review in the Park Operations Office; and WHEREAS, the project is comprised of demolition of the existing fence and installation of a new galvanized chain link fence and maintenance gates with minor grading including an additive alternate for making the chain link fence black.
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed and determined that the project is Categorically Exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) based on Article 19 Section 15301(d), Class 1 “Existing Facilities”; and WHEREAS, a Notice of Exemption will be filed with the San Joaquin County Clerk/Recorder and the State Clearinghouse for the Project pursuant to 14 Cal. Code Regs. § 15094; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the Plans, Specifications and Estimate for the Manteca Golf Course Project Replace Fencing along Crom Street CIP No. 24037 The City Council hereby approves the California Environmental Quality Act Notice of Exemption determination for the Project.
The City Council hereby accepts the Invitation to Bid for the Manteca Golf Project Replace Fencing along Crom Street (CIP No. 24037) and herby instructs the City Clerk to sign same.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 20th day of August, 2024, by the following vote:
