RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM VALLEY INVESTMENT GROUP INC. AS TO AN UNDIVIDED 75% INTEREST AND GN PROPERTIES INC. AS TO AN UNDIVIDED 25% INTEREST FOR 1,262 SQUARE FEET OF REAL PROPERTY FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES OVER A PORTION OF 1559 S. AIRPORT WAY (APN 241-320-11) WHEREAS, as a Condition of Approval for the Tentative Map for the Machado Ranch subdivision the developer must install frontage improvements along the west side of S. Airport Way from 1559 S. Airport Way to 2107 W. Woodward Avenue; and WHEREAS, the developer needed to acquire right-of-way from the owners of 1559 S. Airport Way to accommodate a smooth transition of the improvements from a wider to a narrower street cross section; and WHEREAS, acceptance of this dedication will facilitate the frontage improvements and the roadway transition; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby accepts a Grant Deed from Valley Investment Group Inc. as to an undivided 75% interest and GN Properties Inc. as to an undivided 25% interest for 1,262 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes over a portion of 1559 S. Airport Way (APN 241-320-11).
3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this Resolution and the Grant Deed with the San Joaquin County Recorder’s Office.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 20th day of August 2024, by the following vote:
