RE: Griffin Park, Unit 9 - Request to Construct Grading and Improvements prior to Final Map Mr. Jorgensen,
KB Homes is formally requesting to start improvements for the Griffin Park, Unit 9 Project prior to Final Map approval. This request is in accordance with Section 16.13.060 of the City's Municipal Code (Section
16.13.060 Grading and Improvements Prior to Final Map). We are requesting that this request be included at the City Council's July 2, 2024 meeting agenda. We acknowledge that grading and/or improvement plan approval will be necessary prior to any work commencing for the project.
Furthermore, we will pay, in full, all required inspection fees prior to the start of construction. Finally, we understand that there is a risk with performing the grading and improvements without approval of the final map, and that risk is acceptable.
