RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY’S POSITION CONTROL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 BY APPROVING THE ADDITION OF ONE FULL-TIME DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TECHNICIAN TO THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Council has previously approved five Development Services Technician classifications in the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 annual budget; and WHEREAS, the addition of a sixth Development Services Technician would increase the total FTEs in Development Services from 22 to 23; and WHEREAS, the Development Services department requested to add an additional full-time Development Services Technician by converting two part-time positions to partially fund this conversion, to ensure faster permit processing and maintenance of a high level of customer service; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby directs amending the City’s Position Control for Fiscal Year 2024-25 by approving the addition of one full-time Development Services Technician to the Development Services department.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
