RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE BUDGET APPROPRIATION OF $1,150,000 FROM SOLID WASTE RECOVERY FUNDS FUND 670 TO PURCHASE TWO SOLID WASTE AUTOMATIC SIDE LOADER TRUCKS WHEREAS, Solid Waste Division does not have adequate fleet for new development to provide services for solid waste, organics and recycling; and WHEREAS, Solid Waste desires to purchase new fleet to accommodate the development of 4,561 houses since January 2018; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends Council approves Solid Waste Recovery funds appropriation of $1,150,000; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
City Council approves the Solid Waste Recovery Fund budget appropriation from Fund 670 reserves in the amount of $1,150,000 to (Account No. 670.00.00.900-7000.06 – Capital Outlay Operations Apparatus - Major) for the purchase of two automated side loader trucks.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 21st day of October 2024, by the following vote:
