RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM SERGIO FLORES, AN UNMARRIED MAN, FOR 2,060 SQUARE FEET OF REAL PROPERTY FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES OVER A PORTION OF 149 W. WOODWARD AVENUE (APN 224-021-37) WHEREAS, as a Condition of Approval for the Tentative Map for the Griffin Park subdivision, the Developer is required to install frontage improvements along the S. Main Street frontage of 149 W. Woodward Avenue including roadway paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and an accessibility ramp; and WHEREAS, to facilitate the installation of the frontage improvements, the developer needed to acquire property along the S. Main Street frontage of 149 W. Woodward Avenue and its corner of the S. Main Street/W. Woodward Avenue intersection to widen the right-of-way; and WHEREAS, acceptance of this dedication will allow for the installation of the frontage improvements in accordance with the City’s adopted Transportation Public Facilities Implementation Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby accepts a Grant Deed from Sergio Flores, an unmarried man, for 2,060 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes over a portion of 149 W. Woodward Avenue (APN 224-021-37).
3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this Resolution and the Grant Deed with the San Joaquin County Recorder’s Office.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 19th day of November 2024, by the following vote:
