My name· is Michael. I am 27 years old. I was at
a new low in my life with no hope of overcoming
sin. All that I was in was due to poor decisions.
I was tired of the way I was living but did not have
enough power to get help by my own strength.
God knew exactly where I needed to be and
He placed me in the FIT Ministry Program. God
took me through the deepest, darkest hole I have
ever been in and gave me a new life. Jesus took the
worry and fear that held me captive for so long.
I have a new lease on life, and I give all the glory
to God. With God, anything is possible!
My name is Jon. I arrived at the FIT Ministry
Ranch as the result of a court order. I have been
given time to expand on my knowledge of the
-Lord, and have greatly added to my years of prior
religious study, getting myself ready to return to
society a better person who is more capable of
carrying out God's wishes and plans.
I have learned that as you follow the path He
has prepared for you, at times it is difficult to see
any difference or improvement. Some changes are
,
iery subtle, but they are there. So my advice would
be; don't expect everything to occur at once, some
changes are slow and good changes take time. ('

Greetings dear friend,
Thank you for your interest in the F.I.T.
Ministry. We help people from all walks of
life. There are men who have come to our
ministry from affluent backgrounds and men
who were homeless. Some were ordered by
the courts. Others were referred by a church,
pastor, family member or friend. No matter
the background, I truly believe there are many
who want to change their lives and recover
from the snare of the devil and his devices.
Our mission is to train and empower men
to live a victorious Christian life. We will help
them attain permanent victory from addictive
and destructive behavior through principles
and structure found in the Bible.
If YOU are serious about living your life
for the glory of God and if you are willing to
let God do the work, we are here for you. A
change of character takes determination and
the wonderful grace of God.
You will learn discipline and God will most
certainly do His part. But you must have
strong desire to complete the 8 to 12-month
program. And though you will certainly want
to quit at times before you graduate, my advice
to you is simple: "Do not quit."
If God is leading you-to this ministry, we
will join with you in a commitment to rebuild
a life of true freedom that is found only in
Jesus Christ. Pastor Parry L. Dalzell, Sr
Ministry Director
Our Program •
-
The FIT Ministry Program begins
,....,
first and foremost with the Word of
God, for it is the basis and source of
all truth. All teaching and activity is based" on
doctrines and guidance found in the Bible.
This includes Bible memorization, study and
daily devotions. John 8:32 - "And ye shall
kn.ow the truth, and the truth shall make
you free."
The men have an active and faithful
involvement in carefully-selected
areas of ministry at Central Valley
Baptist Church of Manteca California, under
the leadership of Pastor Parry Dalzell, Jr.
Regular church attendance is a requirement for
the completion of the FIT Ministry Program.
Daily activities include devotions,
·r,-_
chores, work ( landscaping and
___.. construction), church attendance,
property maintenance, classes, and occasional
:recreation. The schedule is meant for the overcoming of mental obstacles and for recovery.
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the
foundation of a clean and productive life.
ac:m Within the program of the Ministry
are layers of extensive accountability
that are applied to devotions, work,
church attendance, service, local ministry and
many other areas. Each week, the men attend
classroom sessions focused on the teaching of
Biblical principles to combat addictions. In
these classes, there is an emphasis for the men
to learn, embrace and then apply God's truth
to everything they say and do.
THE TRUE SOURCE OF FREEDOM
The Word of God is the truth
that sets men free!
HELP SUPPORT us TODAY BY
MAKING A DONATION.
The addictions ministry is one that is not
often prioritized, especially in light of other
great needs that are introduced to our churches
and communities.
The FIT Ministry is sustained and supported
in part by contributions and gifts donated by
faithful people a11:d churches through the year.
Unlike some rescue missions and treatment
centers that provide only a short-term offsite
intervention, we provide a residence for men
who are truly committed to a wholesome lifestyle; a setting that will increase the likelihood of successful and long-term sobriety.
Most important is
our faith in Jesus Christ
and obedience to the
Word of God, for this
brings eternal salvation!
Please ,consider making an investment
in restoring broken lives today!
