RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING COUNCILMEMBER JOSE NUÑO TO SERVE AS THE CITY COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE TRI-VALLEY REGIONAL RAIL, MANTECA CITY COUNCILMEMBER REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE TRI-VALLEY RAIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 11, 2024 WHEREAS, Councilmember Nuño has been serving on the Tri Valley Rail Commission for the past 4 years as the Manteca City Council representative; and WHEREAS, with the current Election of November 5, 2024, being certified at the Special City Council Meeting on December 10, 2024, Jose Nuño would no longer be a sitting City Councilmember; and WHEREAS, city staff and staff of the Tri -Valley Regional Rail Commission request permission from the Manteca City Council to authorize Jose Nuño as the City of Manteca City Council representative at the Meeting of December 11, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council authorizes Jose Nuño to serve as the Manteca City Councilmember representative for the Tri-Valley Rail meeting of December 11, 2024.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 3rd day of December, 2024, by the following vote:
