RESOLUTION R2024-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE MISSION SQUARE 401(A) DEFINED CONTRIBUTION RETIREMENT PLAN ADOPTION AGREEMENT COVERING THE MANTECA PUBLIC SAFETY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources is an authorized Plan Coordinator for the City’s Mission Square 401(a) defined contribution retirement plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the Plan Coordinator to sign and execute documents related to the Mission Square 401(a) plan amendments covering the Manteca Public Safety Management Association (MPSMA) including but not limited to a 1% mandatory member contribution, mandatory eligible sick and vacation leave accrual contributions towards the plan upon separation, and other provision updates to bring the plan current with regulations and standards; and a side letter agreement to the memorandum of understanding with the MPSMA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby approves the Mission Square 401(a) defined contribution retirement adoption plan amendments covering MPSMA members.
The City Council hereby authorizes the Plan Coordinator to carry out the intention of the plan amendments.
The City Council hereby approves the side letter agreement to the memorandum of understanding between the City of Manteca and MPSMA regarding the 401(a) plan.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 17th day of December, 2024, by the following vote:
