RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION OF $51,000 FROM LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT (LMD) 280 AND COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICTS (CFD) 550 RESERVE FUND BALANCES TO PURCHASE A NEW MOWER WHEREAS, the LMD and CFD Maintenance Division is in need of a new flex wing turf mower to improve operational efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, and meet the expanding maintenance requirements; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends a budget appropriation of $51,000 from LMD (280) and CFD (550) Reserve Fund Balances split evenly ($25,500 each) for the purchase of a flex wing turf mower; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves budget appropriation of $51,000 split evenly ($25,500 each) between the Landscape Maintenance District (LMD) Fund 280 and Community Facilities District (CFD) Fund 550 Reserve Fund Balances to the LMD and CFD Capital Outlay Equipment accounts to fund the mower.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 4th day of March, 2025, by the following vote:
