RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION OF $400,000 FROM SOLID WASTE RECOVERY FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE ROLL-OFF TRUCK WHEREAS, Solid Waste Division does not have adequate fleet for new development to provide services for drop box services; and WHEREAS, Solid Waste desires to purchase a new roll-off truck to accommodate the development of new houses and businesses and service existing businesses with drop box service; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends Council approves an appropriation from Solid Waste Recovery funds in the amount of $400,000; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
City Council approves the Solid Waste Recovery Fund (Fund 670) budget appropriation, from Fund 670 reserves, in the amount of $400,000 to the Capital Outlay Operations Apparatus - Major account for the purchase of one roll-off truck.
The City Council designates that the City Manager may execute any and all affiliated documents related to this transaction.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 4th day of March 2025, by the following vote:
