To consider increases to the monthly Water User Rates

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 18, 2025, at or after 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1001 W. Center Street, Manteca, California, a Public Hearing will be conducted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at which time and place all persons may attend and be heard upon:
PROJECT: City Council Consideration of Adopting Ordinance and Resolution Updating Monthly Water Rates DESCRIPTION: The City has prepared a Water Rate Study setting forth updated charges for the City’s Monthly Water Rates and the City Council will consider whether to update its Municipal Code and adopt updated rates, for all water customers, beginning Fiscal Year ending in 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029.
LOCATION: Citywide
The data supporting the Monthly Water Rate Study update will be available, pursuant to Article XIII-D, Section 6 of the California Constitution (“Proposition 218”), in the Engineering Department located at 1001 W. Center St., Suite E, Manteca, CA 95337 or on the City’s website at https://www.manteca.gov/departments/engineering/water-system.
Written comments should be directed to the City Council through the City Clerk at 1001 W. Center St., Suite G, Manteca, CA 95337 or at [email protected].
PLEASE NOTE: Any person challenging any of the above actions in Court may be limited to raising only those issues that they or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Manteca at, or prior to, the public hearing.
